AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. As a Cloud Support Engineer on the AWS Support team, you will be at the forefront of transformational cloud technology, assisting a global list of companies and developers in leveraging AWS services for their mission-critical applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Learning and using groundbreaking technologies
  • Applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer (Data in Transit & Storage)

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience in a technical position
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in relevant technical position
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols: DNS, HTTP, SSL, TCP and UDP
  • Knowledge of filesystem, block and object storage
  • Good Unix/Linux or Windows system administration skills
  • Knowledge of client/server architecture, distributed systems architectures, storage architectures and backup/DR strategies
