AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role sits at the intersection of customer service and technical expertise, supporting AWS's comprehensive cloud platform. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you'll be instrumental in helping customers leverage AWS's suite of services, with a special focus on mobile technologies including Amplify, Device Farm, and Pinpoint.

Responsibilities For Cloud Support Engineer (Developer & Mobile Services)

  • Act as 'Cloud Ambassador' across all cloud products
  • Provide technical solutions to customers
  • Support AWS mobile technologies (Amplify, Device Farm, Pinpoint, etc)
  • Help customers utilize all services offered within AWS
  • Act as the voice of the customer to development teams
  • Solve customer cases through various contact channels (telephone, email, web/chat)
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques
  • Drive customer interactions and dive deep into root cause analysis

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer (Developer & Mobile Services)

  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience in a technical position
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a technical position (Support or System Administration)
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems

  • Experience with web-based applications and HTTP
  • Knowledge of client/server and distributed systems architectures
  • Troubleshooting skills on Linux, Networking
  • Knowledge of IPsec, VPN, Load Balancing, Iperf, DNS, DHCP, Routing Protocols, SSH, Network Monitoring
