AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to join their global team. This role is crucial in supporting AWS's diverse customer base, from small businesses to enterprise-level organizations. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you'll work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, focusing on distributed cloud infrastructure services including Data and Storage, Content delivery, and Media and Streaming technologies.

The position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in cloud computing while directly impacting customer success. You'll troubleshoot complex technical issues, provide solutions through multiple communication channels, and contribute to improving AWS services based on customer feedback. Responsibilities For Cloud Support Engineer I (MCD)

  • Solving customer's cases through various contact channels (telephone, email, and web/live chat)
  • Applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions
  • Driving initiatives to improve support-related processes and customer experience
  • Providing feedback to internal AWS teams on service improvements
  • Working on complex customer problems spanning multiple AWS services
  • Continuous learning of new technologies and developing technical skills
  • Coaching/mentoring new team members and participating in hiring processes

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer I (MCD)

Linux
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols: DNS, HTTP, SSL, TCP and UDP
  • Good Unix/Linux or Windows system administration skills
  • Knowledge of client/server and distributed systems architectures
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting email services using SMTP protocol
