Description For Cloud Support Engineer I (Storage and Content Delivery)

AWS Support Engineering Team (formerly Premium Support) is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer specializing in Storage and Content Delivery (SCD) to provide technical assistance to customers using AWS cloud services.

As a Cloud Support Engineer (SCD), your primary role is to help drive customer innovation through technical expertise. You'll work in an environment that promotes continuous learning through daily customer interactions across diverse use cases. A key aspect of the role involves providing feedback to service development teams based on customer inquiries and identifying areas for AWS service improvement.

The team provides 24/7 Japanese technical support through web forms, phone, and chat. With support centers worldwide, the team operates on rotating shifts during regular business hours (7:00-21:00), ensuring work-life harmony without the need for night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master and implement the latest AWS technologies

The position focuses on:

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer I (Storage and Content Delivery)

Linux
  • Basic knowledge of operating systems (Linux/Windows)
  • Fundamental understanding of networking (TCP/IP and HTTP)
  • Technical knowledge and experience in storage systems or content delivery
  • Excellent Japanese communication skills (verbal and written)
  • English communication skills (reading and writing)
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks
  • Availability to work 8-hour shifts between 7:00-21:00, including weekend rotations
