Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer I to join their Storage and Content Delivery (SCD) team. Responsibilities For Cloud Support Engineer I - Storage and Content Delivery (SCD)

  • Solve customer cases through various contact channels using advanced troubleshooting techniques
  • Drive initiatives to improve support-related processes and customer experience
  • Provide feedback to internal AWS teams on service improvements
  • Work on complex customer problems across multiple AWS services
  • Continuously learn new technologies and develop technical skills
  • Act as interviewer and mentor new team members
  • Work 5 days a week on a rotational basis (including possible weekends)

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer I - Storage and Content Delivery (SCD)

  • 2+ years of experience with storage architectures and types, content delivery networks and email/messaging services
  • Knowledge of system administration and troubleshooting (Linux and/or Windows) and networking
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken)
  • Understanding of storage protocols: iSCSI, NFS, SMB (preferred)
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Mathematics or related field (preferred)
