Description For Cloud Support Engineer I (Windows)

AWS Support Engineering Team is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer specializing in Windows to provide technical assistance to customers utilizing AWS cloud services. This role is part of the 24/7 Japanese language technical support team, working during regular business hours with no night shifts required. The position focuses on troubleshooting Windows environments on AWS, handling virtualization, storage, and cloud migration services. Engineers will work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, collaborate with global teams, and contribute to service improvements based on customer feedback. The role offers a balanced work-life harmony, opportunities for continuous learning, and direct customer interaction. The team operates on a profile system, where services are divided into 10 technical areas, with this position specifically focusing on the Windows profile. Engineers will have access to AWS service source code, free usage of AWS services for learning, and opportunities to grow alongside talented engineers worldwide.

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer I (Windows)

  • Experience in infrastructure management and operation centered on Windows OS
  • Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning on Windows OS systems
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and firewalls
  • Ability to continuously learn and share knowledge with the team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent Japanese communication skills (verbal and written)
  • English communication skills (reading and writing)
  • Ability to work 8 hours between 7:00 and 21:00, including weekend rotation
