Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer II specializing in Analytics to join their premier engineering team in Mexico. This role focuses on supporting AWS's analytics services including Kinesis, OpenSearch, Redshift, QuickSight, Neptune, and Managed Streaming for Kafka. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of cloud technology, helping customers succeed with their data analysis needs across various applications such as digital marketing, intelligent heuristics, fraud detection, ad tech, games, and IoT.

The role requires strong technical expertise in system administration, networking, databases, and business intelligence, combined with fluency in both English and Portuguese. You'll be responsible for solving complex customer issues, driving process improvements, and contributing to AWS service enhancements.   • Solve customer cases through various contact channels (telephone, email, web/chat)
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide solutions
  • Drive initiatives to improve support processes and customer experience
  • Provide feedback to internal AWS teams on service improvements
  • Work on complex customer problems across multiple AWS services
  • Continuously learn new technologies and develop technical skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Mathematics or related field or equivalent military experience
  • 3+ years of related professional experience
  • Experience with system administration and troubleshooting (Linux/Windows)
  • Experience with networking (HTTP/s, TCP/IP, DNS, OSI model, routing, switching, firewalls)
  • Experience with database concepts and administration (RDBMS, NoSQL, DocumentDB)
  • Experience with data warehousing
  • Experience troubleshooting Business Intelligence (BI) issues and ETL
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
