Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer II to join their Analytics support team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies while supporting AWS's analytics services including Kinesis, OpenSearch, Redshift, QuickSight, Neptune, and Managed Streaming for Kafka. As part of AWS Support Engineering, you'll be at the forefront of transformational technology, working in a global, follow-the-sun model.

The role involves direct interaction with customers through various channels, applying advanced troubleshooting techniques, and providing tailored solutions. You'll be responsible for handling complex technical issues, driving process improvements, and contributing to the development of support resources like tutorials and technical articles.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Mathematics or equivalent military experience
  • 3+ years of related professional experience
  • Experience with system administration and OS troubleshooting (Linux/Windows)
  • Networking knowledge (HTTP/s, TCP/IP, DNS, OSI model, routing, etc.)
  • Database troubleshooting experience (RDBMS, NoSQL, DocumentDB)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and ETL troubleshooting
  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
