This role focuses on supporting AWS mobile technologies (Device Farm, Pinpoint) and serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, Step functions), some of the fastest-growing areas in tech.

As part of AWS Support Engineering, you'll work in a customer-facing global organization operating on a follow-the-sun model. You'll support a diverse portfolio of companies and developers utilizing AWS services, while continuously learning and adapting to new technologies. The role requires both English and Portuguese language skills, making it perfect for bilingual tech enthusiasts.

Responsibilities For Cloud Support Engineer II - Developer and Mobile Services

  • Solving customer cases through various contact channels (telephone, email, and web/live chat)
  • Applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide solutions
  • Driving initiatives to improve support-related processes and customer experience
  • Providing feedback to internal AWS teams on service improvements
  • Working on complex customer problems across multiple AWS services
  • Continuous learning of new technologies and developing technical skills
  • Acting as interviewer in hiring processes and mentoring new team members
  • Working 5 days a week on a rotational basis (including weekends)

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer II - Developer and Mobile Services

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Mathematics or related field
  • 3+ years of related professional experience
  • Experience with system administration and troubleshooting (Linux and/or Windows)
  • Networking knowledge (HTTP/s, TCP/IP, DNS, OSI model, routing, switching, firewalls, etc.)
  • Experience in modern programming languages (Java, C++, Python, Javascript, .NET, PHP or Ruby)
  • Experience working with HTTP and troubleshooting API calls
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
