Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to join their Network Infrastructure team. In this role, you'll serve as a 'Cloud Ambassador,' supporting a global customer base using AWS's extensive service portfolio.

The position combines technical expertise with customer service excellence, focusing on networking services like Elastic Load Balancing, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, Route 53, and VPC. You'll troubleshoot complex technical issues, provide architectural guidance, and ensure customer success through various communication channels.

Working in a follow-the-sun model (either Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat), you'll be part of a diverse, inclusive team that values continuous learning and innovation. Responsibilities For Cloud Support Engineer (Network Infrastructure)

  • Solve customer cases through various contact channels (telephone, email, web/chat)
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide solutions
  • Drive customer communication during critical events

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer (Network Infrastructure)

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science/IT, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
  • Good knowledge of network security (SSL/TLS, Network and Web Application Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Services)
  • Good OS knowledge for maintenance and administrative purposes (Windows or Linux)
  • Experience with Networking and troubleshooting (HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, Routing and Switching, Load Balancing)
