Responsibilities For Cloud Support Engineer (Networking Monitor and Scale)

  • Solve customer cases through various contact channels (telephone, email, web/chat)
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide solutions
  • Drive customer communication during critical events
  • Write tutorials, how-to videos, and technical articles
  • Work on complex customer problems spanning multiple AWS services
  • Coach/mentor new hires
  • Partner with development teams on complex issues
  • Support and focus on Networking services (ELB, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, Route 53, VPC)

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer (Networking Monitor and Scale)

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science/IT, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
  • Good knowledge of network security (SSL/TLS, Network and Web Application Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Services)
  • Good OS knowledge oriented to maintenance and administrative purposes (Windows or Linux)
  • Experience with Networking and troubleshooting (HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, Routing and Switching, Load Balancing)
