AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Fleet Remediation Project Design Electrical Engineer to join our team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role is crucial for maintaining and expanding AWS's global infrastructure, specifically focusing on data center operations and improvements.

As a Fleet Remediation Project Design Electrical Engineer, you'll lead critical projects that upgrade and optimize our data center infrastructure. Responsibilities For Cluster Project Design Electrical Engineer, Fleet Remediation Engineering

  • Lead design projects in operational data centers
  • Own the design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions
  • Prepare/review short circuit coordination studies
  • Perform design and equipment submittal review for Data Centers
  • Interface with internal and external data center design engineering teams
  • Support construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert

Requirements For Cluster Project Design Electrical Engineer, Fleet Remediation Engineering

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of design experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment/design related to data center topology
