Colo Reg Engineer Manager, Colocation Region Engineering- Eastern US

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking an experienced engineering manager to lead teams in delivering data center designs and operations. This role is crucial in maintaining AWS's global infrastructure, supporting all data centers, servers, storage, networking, and equipment. The position offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging problems in the cloud infrastructure space while collaborating with diverse teams across AWS.

The role involves managing and directing teams responsible for assessing colocation facilities, performing risk analyses, and ensuring AWS's infrastructure meets the highest standards of safety and security. You'll work directly with business teams and colocation vendors to identify and resolve operational/design deficiencies, while having the opportunity to influence and improve processes on a global scale.

As a Colo Reg Engineer Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing critical infrastructure assessments, risk analysis, and availability calculations for vendor-operated colocation data centers. The position requires strong leadership skills and deep knowledge of data center mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural (MEPS) infrastructure design.
