Responsibilities For Commissioning Engineer

  • Oversee and coordinate multi-discipline work related to pre-commissioning and commissioning of Amazon critical infrastructure
  • Support and supervise vendors, contractors in construction and commissioning of various systems
  • Review multi-discipline integrated systems testing and commissioning documents
  • Ensure commissioning procedures follow safety practices
  • Weekly reporting of commissioning progress and metrics
  • Manage concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions
  • Verify system performance and establish acceptance criteria
  • Develop project specific commissioning schedule and plans

Requirements For Commissioning Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
  • 5+ years experience in Commissioning, Mechanical/Electrical Design, Construction Project Management, Control System installation/maintenance, HVAC testing, or Facilities operations
  • Certification or training in NETA, ASHRAE, or Commissioning specific education
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read and understand construction documents
  • Experience in developing and executing test procedures for mechanical/electrical systems
