Description For Commissioning Engineer

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join their Data Center Commissioning Team (ACx) in EMEA. Responsibilities For Commissioning Engineer

  • Support vendors, contractors and teams in construction and commissioning
  • Manage medium and low voltage power systems
  • Work with generators, UPS, HVAC, and chilled water systems
  • Manage building management systems (BMS)
  • Handle electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS)
  • Perform testing and balancing
  • Review component submittal packages
  • Lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT)
  • Perform system level and integrated system testing
  • Provide weekly reporting of project status

Requirements For Commissioning Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in mission critical facilities or data center infrastructure
  • 3+ years of commissioning experience
  • Certification or training in NETA, ASHRAE, or Commissioning specific courses
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (50%+)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read and edit construction documents
  • Must provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits
