Responsibilities For Commissioning Engineer, Amazon Commissioning team

  • Oversee and coordinate multi-discipline work related to pre-commissioning and commissioning of Amazon critical infrastructure
  • Support and supervise vendors, contractors in construction and commissioning of various systems
  • Review multi-discipline integrated systems testing and commissioning documents
  • Ensure compliance with safety practices, policies and procedures
  • Weekly reporting of commissioning progress and metrics
  • Manage concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions
  • Verify system performance and establish acceptance criteria

Requirements For Commissioning Engineer, Amazon Commissioning team

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
  • Experience in Commissioning, Mechanical or Electrical Design
  • Construction Project Management experience
  • Ability to read and understand construction documents
  • Business proficiency in both English and Japanese
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
