AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Commissioning Engineer (CxE) to join their team responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. This role is crucial in maintaining the backbone of AWS's cloud operations, working with cutting-edge data center technologies and infrastructure.
As a Commissioning Engineer, you'll be responsible for overseeing the testing and validation of AWS data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure. This includes working with medium and low voltage power systems, generators, UPS, HVAC systems, chilled water systems, and building management systems. You'll collaborate with diverse teams across AWS, including software engineers, hardware specialists, and network engineers.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in engineering, installation, or commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems. You'll need strong technical competency in either mechanical or electrical systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies. Your role will involve reviewing design documents, leading factory witness testing, and managing third-party commissioning vendors.
