Commissioning Engineer, AMER-Central ACx

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Commissioning Engineer (CxE) to join their team responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. This role is crucial in maintaining AWS data centers and ensuring continuous cloud operations. The position involves working with electrical and mechanical systems, including medium and low voltage power systems, generators, UPS, HVAC, and building management systems.

The ideal candidate will be part of the Amazon Commissioning team (ACx), working on validating and testing critical infrastructure components. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, along with strong project management and communication skills. You'll collaborate with various teams, manage third-party vendors, and ensure quality standards are met throughout the commissioning process.

Key responsibilities include leading Factory Witness Testing, managing commissioning vendors, reviewing design documents, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires 20% travel, US citizenship, and relocation to Columbus, OH.
