AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Commissioning Engineer (CxE) to join their team responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. Responsibilities For Commissioning Engineer, AMER-Central ACx

  • Provide testing and validation oversight of AWS data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure
  • Review design documents and equipment submittals
  • Lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT)
  • Manage third-party commissioning vendors
  • Develop and review commissioning documentation
  • Audit Cx vendors' activities for compliance
  • Regular reporting of commissioning progress
  • Manage project budget
  • Coordinate site activities across teams

Requirements For Commissioning Engineer, AMER-Central ACx

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or 5 years of relevant discipline work experience
  • 5+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems
  • High technical competency in mechanical, electrical, or control systems
  • Ability to understand design concepts and review documentation
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
