AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to join their team responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. This role is crucial in keeping the cloud running by managing the construction of industry-leading data centers. As a Construction Manager, you'll oversee complex projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, working directly with construction trades and contractors. You'll be responsible for driving cost, schedule, and quality while managing construction vendors and contractors.
The position requires extensive experience in construction management, particularly with large-scale technical operations and compute farms. You'll work alongside diverse teams including Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning to build data centers that directly support AWS customers. The role demands strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as familiarity with building codes and regulations.
