Construction Manager, Data Centers

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to join their team responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. This role is crucial in maintaining and expanding AWS's data center capabilities, which are the backbone of their cloud services. The position combines technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems with project management skills.

As a Construction Manager, you'll oversee complex data center construction projects, working directly with contractors and various internal teams including Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning. You'll be responsible for managing construction vendors, controlling costs, maintaining schedules, and ensuring quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of experience in construction management, particularly with large-scale MEP plants and electrical systems. You'll need strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including switch gear, UPS, transformers, and circuit breakers, as well as mechanical engineering principles for cooling systems.
