In this role, you'll manage the construction of industry-leading, energy-efficient, and cost-effective data centers that directly support AWS customers. You'll work alongside Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning teams, handling some of the most sophisticated electrical and mechanical systems globally.
As an Amazon owner, you'll have unique opportunities to influence everything from design review to construction execution. The position requires daily on-site presence, where you'll serve as Amazon's representative, managing contractors and ensuring projects meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.
Key responsibilities include managing construction documentation, conducting negotiations, evaluating bids, performing financial analysis, and driving quality control. You'll also lead constructability reviews, handle project metrics, and contribute to troubleshooting efforts.
The role requires a strong background in construction management, particularly with large-scale MEP plants. You'll need either a relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus demonstrated expertise in contractor management and electrical/mechanical systems construction.
