AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As a Data Center Construction Manager, you'll join a diverse team tasked with constructing Amazon Data Centers that are industry-leading examples of energy efficient, cost-effective designs. You'll work alongside Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning teams to build data centers that directly support AWS customers.
The role involves daily interaction with construction trades as Amazon's owner's representative, managing some of the most sophisticated electrical and mechanical systems globally. You'll be responsible for driving cost, schedule, and quality while overseeing construction vendors and contractors. Key responsibilities include construction project management, contractor negotiations, financial analysis, quality control, and document management.
