Amazon's Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME) team is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join their dynamic organization. Responsibilities For Control Systems Engineer

  • Coordinate and plan work activities for Control Systems Techs/Leads
  • Work with Operations, Engineering, FC Start up Team, and Safety teams
  • Maintain and troubleshoot material handling control systems
  • Monitor MHE metrics and analyze system performance
  • Provide first-level escalation support for Control Systems Techs/Leads
  • Mentor Control System Technicians and Leads
  • Facilitate Failure Analysis and Incident Review processes
  • Perform System Assessments for material handling system performance
  • Coordinate new technology installations
  • Communicate technical issues and project timelines with leadership

Requirements For Control Systems Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or 2+ years equivalent experience
  • Experience with electrical theory, Robotics, and Controls components
  • Knowledge of HMI and control network components
  • Experience with Motor Controls and electrical systems
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Experience with SCADA systems and KPIs
  • Knowledge of programming software like RSLogix5000 studio
  • Experience with Robotics work cells and control systems
  • Leadership and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
