Control Systems Engineer Manager, AMZL RME

Amazon's Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME) team is seeking a Control Systems Engineer Manager to join their dynamic organization. This role represents a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge automation and material handling systems in one of the world's most innovative companies.

As a Control Systems Engineer Manager, you'll be responsible for maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance of sophisticated systems including conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, and SCADA devices. You'll lead a team of Control Systems Technicians and work closely with multiple stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, and Safety teams.

The role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, requiring both hands-on experience with industrial control systems and the ability to mentor and develop team members. You'll be involved in system optimization, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing new technologies while ensuring maximum uptime of critical infrastructure.

Key technical areas include PLC/PC controllers, industrial networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus), motor control systems, servo drives, and electrical distribution systems. You'll also play a crucial role in failure analysis, process improvement, and project implementation.
