AWS Infrastructure Services is at the heart of Amazon's cloud operations, responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. This role within the Data Center Global Services team focuses on Controls Engineering for building automation systems in Amazon data centers. As a Controls Engineer, you'll be part of a diverse team working on sophisticated controls platforms and building automation challenges. You'll collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers, contributing to the maintenance and innovation of AWS's global infrastructure.

Responsibilities For Controls Engineer, ANZ, APAC Controls Deployment & Service

  • Deployment of data center controls with effective vendor management
  • Delivery of critical projects to upgrade data center automation
  • Service and support for partner teams
  • Resolution of tasks within predefined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Diagnosis and resolution of Loss of Visibility (LOV), Loss of Resilience (LOR), and other operational events
  • Delivery of initiatives to improve data center efficiency

Requirements For Controls Engineer, ANZ, APAC Controls Deployment & Service

Linux
  • 3+ years of experience in building unified automated control system for enterprise level clients
  • 3+ years of experience with PLC or SCADA programming, and scripted programming languages
  • Solid experience in inspection, testing, and commissioning of control systems
  • Critical environments experience (preferred): data centers or other critical environments
