Responsibilities For Controls System Development Engineer, Center for Infrastructure Software and Controls

  • Develop, program and iterate sequence of operations and HMI graphics for infrastructure automation projects
  • Contribute and maintain library of standard tested automation logic function blocks
  • Developing automation sequences, mechanical plant strategies, and environmental/electrical concepts
  • Lead collaboration through multiple teams including construction, commissioning, and development engineers
  • Create and maintain specification documents for global automation system development
  • Manage vendor selection, bid review, and RFI support
  • Interface with AWS cloud services for data presentation, archiving, and analysis
  • Travel globally when needed to support project initiatives

  • 3+ years of programming with modern languages (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby)
  • 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of designing or architecting systems experience

  • 2+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience
  • Expert in IEC61131-3 programming language standards
  • Knowledge of engineering practices for full software/hardware/networks development life cycle
