AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Controls System Development Engineer to join their global team responsible for designing and operating industry-leading, large-scale data centers. This role combines software development, infrastructure automation, and electrical engineering expertise to develop and maintain critical control systems for AWS data centers worldwide.
The position requires deep technical knowledge in low voltage switchgear breaker control and generator automation, along with expertise in PLC programming and IEC61131-3 standards. You'll be responsible for developing automation sequences, creating technical documentation, and ensuring the reliable operation of mission-critical facilities.
As part of the Controls System Development team within the larger Data Center Engineering organization, you'll collaborate with diverse stakeholders including MEP Engineering, Product and Program managers, and Operations teams.
