Data & AI Engineer, Amazon Product Insurance

The EU Product Insurance team at Amazon is seeking an exceptional Data & AI Engineer to join their team. This role combines technical expertise with Amazon business knowledge to transform insurance data into actionable insights. You'll work closely with Product Managers to develop data visualizations and build automation solutions that enhance insurance compliance and verification processes across Amazon's European marketplace.

As a Data & AI Engineer, you'll be the primary expert for insurance metrics, utilizing various data platforms and analytical tools to deliver timely compliance information. Your responsibilities include developing deep contextual knowledge of insurance requirements, ensuring data quality, and creating scalable tools with reliable data pipelines and LLM-based verifications.

The role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI/LLM models and AWS platforms like Sagemaker and Bedrock. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining automated verification systems, creating impactful data visualizations, and presenting insights to leadership. The position requires strong technical skills in SQL, data visualization, and AI, combined with business acumen and stakeholder management abilities.
