Data Center Chief Engineer, DCC Communities

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Chief Engineer to join their team responsible for maintaining and operating critical infrastructure systems in world-class data centers. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, focusing on ensuring 99.999% uptime for mission-critical facilities.

The position involves managing complex systems including electrical equipment (generators, UPS systems, switchgear), mechanical systems (chillers, cooling towers, air handlers), and various support equipment. You'll lead a team of technicians, providing training and guidance while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.

As a Chief Engineer, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of facility operations. The role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills, as you'll be directing teams, managing projects, and collaborating with various stakeholders across AWS.
