Data Center Cluster Operations Manager

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) is seeking a Cluster Operations Manager to oversee Amazon Data Center Clusters and Colocation Operations within a specific region. This senior Infrastructure Operations role carries significant responsibility for safety, security, availability, scaling, efficiency, and cost management.

The role combines leadership of Data Center Operations (DCO) and Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO), working closely with physical security teams. You'll be responsible for building and leading high-performing teams across these functions while maintaining the technical capability to dive deep into challenges as needed.

As a key member of the management team operating the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure, you'll tackle complex problems daily. The position offers opportunities to innovate, refine processes, and drive operational excellence in all areas. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of management experience in data center operations or similar environments, along with expertise in continuous improvement methodologies. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and critical environment systems is essential.
