This role within the Infrastructure Operations (Data Center) Team is crucial for maintaining AWS's physical infrastructure and ensuring optimal operational performance.
As a Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing critical facilities, focusing on risk management, maintenance planning, and vendor coordination within AWS Data Centers. The position requires a strong technical background and the vision to enhance data center engineering operations.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing critical infrastructure maintenance, supervising specialist vendors, responding to incidents, and becoming a subject matter expert for the facility. You'll work with various teams including DCO managers, Networking, Logistics, Safety, and Security to optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability, and efficiency.
