Responsibilities For Data Center Engineering Operations Technician

  • Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs
  • Perform rack installs, rack decommissioning, operational readings and facility management
  • Provide key performance indicators to senior engineers
  • Manage on-site contractors and vendors
  • Monitor maintenance and operations of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
  • Maintain data center critical infrastructure ensuring 99.999% up-time
  • Support multiple locations/sites as needed

Requirements For Data Center Engineering Operations Technician

Linux
  • Technical training or 2+ years of electrical/mechanical/HVAC/fire system experience
  • 2+ years experience with Microsoft Office products
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Ability to lift up to 39 pounds independently
  • Physical capabilities for walking, climbing, stooping, and working above shoulders
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts on rotation
