Data Center Engineering Operations Technician

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to join their world-class team responsible for maintaining and operating critical infrastructure systems in AWS data centers. This role is crucial in supporting the operations of some of the world's most powerful data centers, ensuring 24/7 reliability and availability.

As an EOT, you'll work with cutting-edge technology in some of the most sophisticated, safe, and secure data centers globally. You'll be responsible for monitoring and maintaining electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance of critical systems including standby diesel generators, 3-phase electrical systems, HVAC components, and building automation systems.

You'll be part of AWS Infrastructure Services, which owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. This team is fundamental in keeping the cloud running, supporting all AWS data centers and the equipment that ensures continuous customer access to AWS services.

This position requires both technical expertise and physical capabilities, including the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various physical conditions. You'll work in rotating 12-hour shifts, possibly including on-call rotations, demonstrating the critical nature of this 24/7 operation.
