Responsibilities For Data Center Engineering Operations Technician
- Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs
- Perform rack installs, rack decommissioning, operational readings and facility management
- Provide key performance indicators to senior engineers
- Manage on-site contractors, sub-contractors and vendors
- Monitor maintenance and operations of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
- Maintain data center critical infrastructure ensuring 99.999% up-time
- Support multiple locations/sites as needed
Requirements For Data Center Engineering Operations Technician
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience
- 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
- 1+ years experience with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to lift up to 39 pounds independently
- Ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and work in various physical positions
- Willing to work 12-hour shifts on rotating schedule
