AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to join their world-class team maintaining and operating critical infrastructure systems. The role involves hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance, reporting to a Data Center Facility Manager. You'll be responsible for maintaining mission-critical systems including standby diesel generators, 3-phase electrical systems, UPS units, PDUs, and various mechanical equipment like CRAHU units, centrifugal chillers, and cooling towers.

As an AWS Infrastructure Services team member, you'll be part of the group that keeps the cloud running, supporting all AWS data centers and the equipment that ensures continuous customer access to innovation. You'll collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers, working on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain.
The position requires physical capabilities including lifting, maintaining balance on ladders, and performing various construction tasks. You'll work in shifts up to 12 hours that may rotate on a predefined schedule, possibly supporting multiple locations. The role combines technical expertise with practical hands-on work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both technical challenges and physical engagement in a critical infrastructure environment.
