This role puts you at the forefront of maintaining and operating some of the world's most sophisticated data centers. As an EOT, you'll work with cutting-edge technology, handling everything from electrical systems and mechanical equipment to fire/life safety systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring vital infrastructure, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring 24/7 reliability of our data center operations.

Responsibilities For Data Center Engineering Operations Technician, DCC Communities
- Monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
- Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS)
- Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLAs
- Perform rack installations and decommissioning
- Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
- Technical writing for change management program
- Monitor and resolve daily work requests
- Provide on-site support for contractors and vendors
- Maintain mission-critical data center facility equipment
Requirements For Data Center Engineering Operations Technician, DCC Communities
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience
- 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
- 1+ years experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to lift up to 39 pounds independently
- Physical ability to maintain balance, work on ladders, and perform construction tasks
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and rotating schedules
