You'll be part of the team maintaining and operating critical infrastructure in some of the world's most sophisticated data centers. The role involves hands-on work with electrical and mechanical systems, including standby diesel generators, 3-phase electrical systems, HVAC equipment, and fire/life safety systems.
As an EOT, you'll conduct daily monitoring rounds, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure 24/7 reliability of data center operations. You'll work with cutting-edge technology while collaborating with global experts to implement innovative solutions that meet evolving market demands.

Responsibilities For Data Center Engineering Operations Technician, DCC Communities
- Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
- Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS)
- Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLAs
- Perform rack installs and decommissioning
- Perform PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis of electrical and mechanical equipment
- Technical writing for change management program
- Monitor and resolve daily work requests
- Provide on-site support of contractors and vendors
- Work rotating 12-hour shifts with possible on-call rotations
Requirements For Data Center Engineering Operations Technician, DCC Communities
- Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 2+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience
- 2+ years' experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Ability to lift and move up to 39 pounds independently
- Physical capability to maintain balance and perform construction tasks while on a ladder
- Ability to walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs
