AWS Infrastructure Services is at the heart of keeping the cloud running, managing the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. This Senior Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer role is crucial for maintaining AWS data centers' world-class mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
The position involves hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operations response. You'll work on a rotational shift schedule (4 days of 12-hour shifts, including 2 days and 2 nights, followed by 4 days off) and participate in on-call rotations.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), project management, construction management, or similar technical focus, with strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Experience in data center engineering and familiarity with Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) is preferred.
