Data Center Facility Engineer, DCC Communities

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer to join their expanding Data Centers (DC) Cloud regions. This role is crucial in maintaining AWS's global infrastructure, which supports all AWS data centers including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. The position involves hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operations response.

As a Data Center Facility Engineer, you'll be part of the team that keeps the cloud running, working alongside software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, and security experts. You'll operate and maintain AWS DCs' world-class mechanical and electrical infrastructure, following a process-oriented approach while ensuring the implementation of safety procedures.

You'll be responsible for supporting various equipment including UPS systems, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, HVAC systems, and more. The position involves rotational shifts including nights and weekends, with on-call responsibilities.
