Data Center Facility Operations Manager, DCC Communities

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Facility Operations Manager to join their Infrastructure Services team. This role is crucial in maintaining and operating some of the world's most sophisticated and secure data centers. As part of Earth's most customer-centric company, you'll work with teams of front-line responders who support the operations of powerful data centers.

The position involves overseeing all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure, managing 24x7 shift technicians, and ensuring high availability while maintaining service level agreements. You'll be responsible for driving safety and security culture, managing team performance, and handling operations budgets.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The team works on challenging problems involving thousands of variables impacting the supply chain. You'll collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers, security experts, and operations managers to deliver the highest standards for safety and security.

The role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in data center operations, and the ability to handle critical infrastructure systems. You'll work with UPS systems, generators, HVAC, and other essential equipment that must maintain better than 99.999% uptime.
