Responsibilities For Data Center Infrastructure Delivery Manager
- Prioritize and assign tasks to data center technicians and operators
- Manage inbound hardware installation from receiving through deployment stages
- Manage the installation of cabling infrastructure in a data center environment
- Guide, train and educate staff on best practices
- Manage tasks and deliverables across projects
- Provide weekly reporting to data center managers
- Coordinate team resources for project and delivery needs
- Recruit and train data technicians
- Host weekly staff meetings
- Drive compliance to Amazon performance management requirements
Requirements For Data Center Infrastructure Delivery Manager
- 2+ years of experience in a management/team lead function
- 1-2 years of experience in a data center technology OR operations environment
- Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment
- TCP/IP networking knowledge
- Experience with building physical data center infrastructure
- Organizational and planning skills
