Join Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) as a Data Center Manager to lead the world's largest Cloud Computing Infrastructure in India. This role combines technical leadership with operational excellence, requiring a proven manager capable of handling high-performing teams and complex infrastructure.
As DCM, you'll oversee critical data center operations, drive process improvements, and manage both internal teams and external vendors. The position demands expertise in incident management, vendor relations, and health & safety protocols. You'll be responsible for maintaining existing facilities while helping expand our data center footprint.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years of team management. You should have a strong background in data center operations, incident management, and process improvement. Experience with Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma is valuable.

Responsibilities For Data Center Manager, Data Center Operations
- Managing and developing teams of engineers
- Maintaining existing co-located and in-house Data Centres
- Helping build and bring online new Data Centres
- Improving processes and procedures
- Managing relationships with external vendors & contractors
- Liaising with internal teams & management groups
- Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety standards
- Creating and maintaining metrics on all aspects of Data Centres
- Implementing service methodologies including incident management, problem management, change management, capacity management
Requirements For Data Center Manager, Data Center Operations
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- 7+ years of relevant engineering experience managing large scale services
- 7+ years of relevant experience in DC Operations, IT Operations or similar roles
- 3+ years building & managing strong, successful technical teams
- Incident Management Experience
- Vendor Management Experience
- Process Improvement Experience
- High degree of organization and detail-orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proven track record of success in delivering complex projects
