Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services (AIS) is seeking a Data Center Operations Engineer to join their team in Seoul, South Korea. This role is crucial in maintaining AWS's global cloud infrastructure, which powers thousands of businesses worldwide. As a DCO Engineer, you'll be responsible for the critical operations of AWS data centers, ensuring high system reliability and optimal performance.

The position involves working with cutting-edge technology in large-scale, high-density data centers. Responsibilities For Data Center Operations Engineer, DCO (Data Center Operations)

  • Maintain system reliability by resolving Systems and Network hardware problems
  • Linux server and XEN service virtualization troubleshooting
  • Participate in Data Center power & cooling events
  • 24x7 On-Call requirements and shift rotations
  • Install & configure racks in-line with internal SLAs
  • Physical replacement of server and network devices
  • Enforce Amazon's Security Best Practices
  • Interact with third party vendors & contractors
  • Participate in and deliver on local/regional/global projects
