Data Center Project Architect, Design Engineering

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As a Data Center Project Architect in Design Engineering, you will:

• Work with design and engineering professionals on concepts and build projects
• Manage a portfolio of data center designs and features
• Develop and maintain Basis of Design, prototype design, and template specifications for architectural/civil/structural elements
• Create architectural/civil/structural design RFPs
• Manage external architectural/civil/structural design consultants
• Coordinate with internal and external MEP design engineers
• Lead initiatives to improve cost, quality, schedule, and consistency
• Work on multiple data center build and capital improvement projects simultaneously
• Travel for site assessments, consultant selection, internal design meetings, construction review, and interface with various stakeholders (up to 25% travel)
• Perform and present business case analysis
