Description For Data Center Security Manager, DC Security

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Security Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is crucial in maintaining the security and operations of AWS data centers, which form the backbone of their global cloud infrastructure. The position involves managing day-to-day security operations, executing security projects, and ensuring audit compliance with AWS policies.

As a DSM, you'll be responsible for handling security incidents, managing contract guard forces, and overseeing security construction projects. The role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You'll collaborate with diverse teams across AWS, including software engineers, hardware specialists, and network engineers.

Responsibilities For Data Center Security Manager, DC Security

  • Handle site security incidents, escalations and security related issues
  • Provide after-hours on-call management support
  • Participate in data center security audits and reviews
  • Execute compliance processes with AWS policies and regulations
  • Oversee new security construction or retrofit projects
  • Manage security P&L for assigned sites
  • Direct and manage contract guard force
  • Collaborate with other teams to protect AWS Data Center assets
  • Write reports and communicate with management on DC security operations

Requirements For Data Center Security Manager, DC Security

  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years of commercial/industrial supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • CPP or PSP professional certification (preferred)
