Description For Data Center Security Manager (Individual Contributor)

Amazon Web Services (AWS) serves customers and developers who rely on storage, compute, and other service capabilities. As a Data Center Security Manager (individual contributor) for AWS Infrastructure Operations, you will drive operational security excellence across multiple facilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and addressing physical security gaps and shortcomings
  • Interfacing with vendors for security construction, repairs, operations, and planning
  • Analyzing metrics and data to observe improvements
  • Suggesting improvements for electronic surveillance and access controls
  • Directing efforts to educate data center occupants on false alarm reductions
  • Writing and implementing security processes and procedures
  • Creating reports and presentations for management on physical security operations status

The team supports all AWS data centers and the equipment that ensures continuous customer access to AWS services.
