Data Center Security Manager (Individual Contributor)

As a Data Center Security Manager (individual contributor) for AWS Infrastructure Operations, you will drive operational security excellence across multiple facilities. Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying and addressing physical security gaps and shortcomings
• Interfacing with vendors for security construction, repairs, operations, and planning
• Analyzing metrics and data to observe improvements
• Suggesting improvements for electronic surveillance and access controls
• Directing efforts to educate data center occupants on false alarm reductions
• Writing and implementing security processes and procedures
• Creating reports and presentations for management on physical security operations status

This role requires 3+ years overseeing security operations and personnel, 2+ years of experience in security patrolling and reporting, and 2+ years of experience working with security vendors and contractors. Preferred qualifications include experience with access control and video surveillance software, identifying security gaps, investigating incidents, and writing detailed reports.
