AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Engineer to join their Infrastructure Operations team. This role is crucial in maintaining the physical infrastructure of AWS, ensuring high standards for operational performance in safety, security, availability, productivity, capacity, efficiency, and cost.
The position involves working in a 24/7 rotating shift pattern, managing critical facilities systems including electrical and mechanical equipment. You'll be responsible for maintaining uptime, managing costs, assessing risks, and overseeing maintenance of critical infrastructure. The role requires hands-on experience with data center systems such as switch-gear, generators, UPS systems, and cooling equipment.
