We are seeking an ambitious Data Engineer to join Amazon Music's Metrics and Data Platform team. This critical team enables data-driven business decisions and software development by managing a scalable data platform that supports Amazon Music's rapid growth. As a Data Engineer, you'll work on engineering and operational projects, collaborating with Product teams to address customer pain points and implement solutions. You'll build and model extensible datasets used by over 50 internal customers, directly informing leadership decisions on customer engagement, music label payments, and product improvements.
The role requires strong SQL skills, data modeling expertise, and the ability to work with big data technologies. You'll be part of Amazon Music, an immersive audio entertainment service that connects fans, artists, and creators through personalized music playlists, exclusive podcasts, concert livestreams, and artist merchandise. The platform serves various listener tiers, from Prime members to Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers, offering access to 100 million songs, including HD, Ultra HD, and spatial audio options.
