Description For Data Engineer, AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain Automation

AWS Infrastructure Services is at the heart of Amazon Web Services' global operations, responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure. Our team maintains the foundation of the cloud, managing data centers, servers, storage, networking, and essential infrastructure components that power AWS services worldwide.

We're seeking Data Engineers to enhance our Data Lake and Data Warehouse Systems, built on a serverless architecture using 100% native AWS components. Our world-class data lake drives multi-billion dollar decisions, and we're focused on automating data ingestion and democratizing access to this valuable resource.

As a Data Engineer, you'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, working on challenging problems that impact global infrastructure. You'll build ETL and analytics solutions using cutting-edge technologies like Python, Spark, and AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, etc.). Your work will directly influence critical business decisions and infrastructure improvements.

The role offers significant growth opportunities within AWS's innovative culture. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement data security solutions, and develop optimized data warehouse structures. We value work-life harmony and foster an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are celebrated.

AWS provides comprehensive benefits, competitive compensation ($118,900 - $205,600 based on location), and a supportive culture focused on learning and development. Join us in solving complex challenges while working with the latest technologies in cloud computing.
